A finance company’s branch which offered gold loans was robbed on Friday by six armed men in Mumbai’s Nalasopara, Maharashtra.

The Palghar police said that six accused men entered the branch of ITI Gold Loans with guns. These accused demanded the staffers to hand over cash and valuables in the branch. The accused had their heads and faces covered with monkey caps. They fled the scene after the robbery.

Their entry and exit were recorded by CCTV camera installed near the entrance gate of the branch. The robbers took around 10 minutes to execute the robbery and the police are of the view that it must have been a planned robbery.

The police said that an FIR will soon be registered. The staff at the branch will be questioned to assess the amount of cash and valuables robbed part from assessing the records.
