A decomposed body of an unidentified person was recovered for the farmhouse of actor Nagarjuna in Telangana late Wednesday night.

The body was found when Nagarjuna sent some workers to check the land and plant a few saplings on it.

The workers were alerted when they sensed a foul smell emanating from a shed. When they checked, they found the decomposed body inside. The workers then informed the local police in Keshampet, who reached the spot and inspected the area.

An initial probe has suggested that the body is over six-month-old. Police are trying to identify the deceased and have taken help from forensic experts.

News18.com quoted Cyberabad police saying the place where the body was found is an unused agricultural field in Papireddyguda village, under Keshampet police limits.

The land was reportedly purchased by Nagarjuna’s family around a year ago and since then it has been left uncultivated.
