Deployment Engineer
About The Position
What you’ll be doing
As a Deployment Engineer, you will work on multiple platforms and environments with continuous learning of new technologies.
Responsible for solution design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of customer cloud-based and on-prem systems.
In addition, working with internal interfaces (Customer Support, R&D, QA ) and taking responsibility for technical Knowledge maintenance and sharing.
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of IT systems, including solutions design, networking, servers, and applications
- Excellent understanding and experience with Linux, Windows Server, VMware ESXi and Cloud environments
- Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining servers both physical and virtual (ESX, Cloud VMs)
- Experience in Linux and Windows script languages (BASH, PowerShell) are preferred
- Knowledge of and experience with deploying infrastructure (IaaS) solutions to Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
- Solid understanding of Database concepts primarily, Postgres and MSSQL
- Experience with operating Firewall platforms and VPN technologies- strong advantage
- Solid Knowledge Base maintenance approach and Knowledge sharing attitude
- Experience in Customer Support and ability to work with worldwide global customers
- Problem solver: proven troubleshooting skills, result- driven, ‘make it happen’ approach
- Ability to operate under pressure in deadline-driven situations and business emergencies
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with attention to details
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience working as a System Engineer
- Certifications: CCNA, MCSE, AWS\Azure are recommended, but not preferred
